During 2020, as the world retreated indoors during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, I moved home to Michigan from New York City and graduated from college on Zoom. Like most people, I had a ton of unexpected spare time on my hands and was looking for something creatively fulfilling that could bring comfort to me and the community at large. Christmas of 2021, my mom bought me a candle making kit. I've always loved candles, but it wasn't until my mom gifted me the kit that I decided to try my hand at candle making. I've loved making candles ever since.
I started Homeglow Candles as a small business in Michigan out of my home with the intent to make candles with scents reminiscent of memories and experiences that I couldn't find in stores. My hope is that the candles I craft can bring you a sense of calm, happiness, and comfort wherever you are.
